Calling Benjamin Leroux a micro-negotiant, while strictly accurate, belies the incredible relationships with growers he's cultivated throughout the Cote d'Or. His knowledge of the region is encyclopedic. He works organically or biodynamically and guides every grower, every plot, every harvest. Jean Marc Roulot was heard recently to say that he doesn't know anyone in Burgundy making both Chardonnay & Pinot Noir at Ben's level.

Benjamin Leroux has considerable pedigree with Aligoté, as followers of Domaine Comte Armand will undoubtedly agree. This is a new cuvée for Leroux from a parcel of 100 year old, goblet-pruned Aligoté Doré in Bouzeron (Côte Chalonnaise). The wine was finished in stainless steel before bottling.
